The bungalow

This cozy 4-person holiday home is located at bungalowpark "'t Giethmenseveld", near the charming town of Ommen. Relax and unwind in this charming bungalow, where squirrels and birds frequently visit the spacious and sheltered garden.

The bright and inviting living room features underfloor heating, a comfortable seating area, a JBL speaker with Bluetooth, and a smart-TV. You can relax here after a day in nature. The wood stove adds extra ambiance on cooler evenings. 

The open kitchen is equipped with a combi oven/microwave, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, milk frother, and a 4-burner gas stove. With super-fast fiber-optic internet, you can stream your favorite series and movies on the smart-TV or work from home easily.

There are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed (140x200 cm) for a restful sleep. 

The bathroom has a spacious shower and a sink. The toilet is separate.

Outdoor Living

In the large garden (about 900 m²), you can relax en enjoy the tranquility. There is a garden table with chairs where you can enjoy a meal outdoors. Between the trees, there is a hammock, ideal for reading a book or taking a nap. The outdoor fireplace allows you to enjoy cozy evenings outside. There are numerous bike and walking paths in the area. The nearest walking area starts 50 meters behind the house. A light touring bike and a mountain bike are available for exploring the surroundings by bike. Additional bikes can be rented at the reception.

Pets

You may bring up to 1 dog per stay. 

Central Facilities

The park has a reception with a bread roll service, an outdoor pool (May - September), two wading pools for young children, and a playground. For the sporty, there is a tennis court, a football cage, a basketball court, a table tennis table, and a petanque court. There is also a small library with books, DVDs, and toys. Additionally, there is a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. Coins for these appliances can be purchased at the reception.

Children

The garden with a lawn is ideal for children to play. For rainy days, there is a suitcase with games, books, and coloring pencils. A 5-minute walk away, you will find a playground with swings, climbing equipment, slides and a zipline.

Check-in and Check-out

Our guests are warmly welcomed from 15:30 PM. Check-in is contactless. You will receive the code for the key safe no later than one week in advance. Check-out is at 10:30 AM. In some cases, an early check-in (12:00 PM) or late check-out (until 16:00 PM) is possible for an additional fee of €35,- but only by prior arrangement.

Remarks

• Duvets (200x200 cm) and pillows (70x60 cm) are provided. You will need to bring your own bed linen and towels.
• Please bring your own baby crib and high chair.
• If you wish to bring your dog, please let us know in advance. Other animals are not allowed. We charge €15 per stay for extra cleaning, regardless of the number of nights. There is no fence around the garden.
• Please bring your own wood and fire starters. 
• There is no charging station for electric cars. The nearest public charging station is approximately 2 km from the park.
• The house is not suitable for large groups or as a party venue. We kindly ask our guests to respect the park's motto of "nature, peace, and privacy" by not playing loud music and keeping quiet outside between 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM.
• Smoking is not allowed inside the house.

About us

We are Peter and Susanne. From the first moment we arrived at the park we fell in love. With the spacious and green park with lots of privacy, the nice houses and surroundings with lots of nature. Since June 2024 we are the proud owners of our own house. A wonderful place to relax but also a perfect base for all the fun things to do in the area. We spend a lot of time here with family and friends. When the house is empty we like to share it with others. The house has been furnished with a lot of love and care and we ask others to treat the interior, the garden and the park with the same care. We hope that others will enjoy the house and the place as much as we do.
